For sale for local pick up . Less than 300 miles. I had it on my truck for exactly one week and didn't like the sound. Paid $495, will sell for $350.

Located in Sedalia Mo. Double cab short bed. As far as the sound, it was a little too loud in the cab.

I experienced the same thing with my '14 DCSB, installed in on my sons '15 AC and it is a completely different system! I think the cab configuration on the DC made for some horrible drone? Honestly it sounds great inside the Access Cab, and obviously the exterior sound was the same for both.

Ugh, I'm in Warrensburg and have been wanting one of these...for a long bed. Just my luck.

Maybe that is the answer? Would be interesting to see how many folks who say "no drone" are in AC's and how many who say "it drones" are in DC. Pulled mine as I didn't like the drone....it is the exact same exhaust on both the DCSB and the AC so the body style may have a lot to do with it.

My AC has the TRD exhaust and I notice no drone. But I bought it that way so I really can't say that I would feel differently with stock in place. I can hear it but it is not annoying to me.

My Pro came stock with the TRD Performance Exhaust but is a DCSB and I pulled it off and put on stock. On the freeway it was fine, pulling hills or driving the slow twisty roads in the mountains it had a serious drone around 2k-2200. Maybe the DC + shell = two big boxes that amplify the sound.

Hate to drudge up this old thread, but did you have any issues installing it on his '15 AC, having to modify the hangers or anything? I'm kinda wanting to install one on my own but can't seem to find a clear answer as to whether it'll be compatible with my truck without extra work.

The same set up exhaust is used on all the newer Tacos 2013-2015 with the exception of the X-Runner and the DCLB. Same set fits both the DCSB & AC (which has the long bed)...both are the same wheelbase. I put a stock exhaust from a 2015 TRD Sport AC on my 2015 DCSB. About a 15 minute job. Hardest part is getting the rubber hangers off the mounts (use soap or such). Supposedly the same set will fit some earlier years but you have to re-locate some hangers (not 100% on that).
