Thanks for the help. It is dark out, so if someone needs additional pics, let me know and I'll snap more when it's light out.

    I may be interested.
I do have a question... Is the muffler the more throaty exhaust than stock? Or is that the stock muffler? I have seen TRD tip on stock system. Thanks
Also, long bed or short bed?

Lowcountry, The TRD muffler is smaller than the stock muffler, and yes, more throaty. It's not obnoxious by any means, but you can hear it. When you are cruising, you cannot really notice it. When you accelerate, you can hear it.

I have one for my 13' DCLB and love it. Not overkill, but definitely notice it's there when you go. and for that price that's a heck of a good deal. BUMP

I'm in Statesboro, trying to tell myself I don't need to spend the money on it with Christmas coming up. Another free bump I guess, good luck getting rid of it!

No you don’t need a TRD exhaust, but it is a nice improvement for your driving pleasure IMHO. My TRD exhaust was installed less than one month (about 350 miles) after purchasing my Tacoma new. Below 2000 RPM you can hardly tell the sound difference. Frequently, I'm downshifting my '10 TRD Sport access cab automatic to keep the R's up nearer 2000. The engine runs smoother there and is no louder than OEM stock exhaust – actually very quiet. However, step on the throttle from anywhere below 2500RPM and she seems to 'JUMP' or ‘LEAP’ forward - a big improvement in acceleration. Damn cross-wind noise from the back of the access cab exceeds the sound level from the TRD exhaust most of the time, especially at lower steady speeds (<45mph) but that’s another story. :burnrubber:
