How would I mount this to round cross bars?
Are the internal dimensions measured at the top where it's the widest or at the bottom? Just wondering if I can drop a 33" tire in there.

You could mount it with u-bolts, from underneath: http://www.mcmaster.com/#u-bolts/=vfrjw5

A 33" tire will fit, but it's tight.

Have you thought about offering two basket sizes? Another basket the same length as current but half the width. I'd be more apt to run two baskets, each closer to the bed sides, than one big basket right in the middle.

Or did I just step off the short bus because thats exactly what you're talking about in post #21?

Would there be any way to put hilift/shovel mounts on the side of this?

That's a damn good idea, and yes, you should be able to mount damn near anything to the side of it.

How much weight are you think it should hold? I'm not putting a spare tire in it or anything, but curious to know.

That would depend on what you mount it on.

If you put it on my Heavy Duty Bed Cross Bars, it could hold as much weight as you could stuff into it.

If you use my standard cross bars, it would hold enough to go camping for a week, but don't go crazy with it.

The XRXS cross bars are somewhere in the middle.

No mods, just extra accessories. Realtree bug shield, vent visors, and a custom Realtree Hunter 4X4 Bully
I absolutely love this idea, but I have a camper top. Although, I could place some sort of roller system on it to make it able to slide outside of the camper top towards the rear of the truck so I can still use the space. Sub'd

I plan on making a smaller version. This one is pretty big, it holds a ton of stuff.

36x35 on a camper shell may look good. Let me measure and see.

I'm looking for a rack to go on top of my 4Runner, something longer and a little wider maybe, do you produce anything like that?

Snugtop SL tonneau cover, 17x9 +10 Gear Alloy Overdrive Wheels, 265/70/17 (31.5") El Dorado MTZ Sport tires, weather tech front mats, bed rail and underhood LED lighting, OME lift kit with 2885 springs up front, Dakar leaf packs, OME Nitroshocks all around, HID hi/low headlights, CREE switchback DRL, 6000k HID foglights.
I am interested. What do you think about mounting to a snugtop FG tonneau cover? Been thinking about that for a while. Would you be interested in fabbing up some underbrackets that would support the mounting it so it prevents cracking of the FG when I load it up? thanks
