    It just struck me that you are obviously the man to ask. <g>

    As you have apparently removed this radio from Your truck - you can tell me how to accomplish the same task. How big of a deal is it? What do I have to do? How is the radio held into the dash? Where do I start? Details man! I need Details! <g>

    Mine is apparently fine except that turning the volume up and down seems to be only casually involved with my turning the physical volume knob. It sort of acts like it's fly-by-wire - except that wire is more like a frayed and sloppy string. <g> That doesn't really bother me but the CD player often skips. Well; maybe "often" is too strong a word - but it has skipped. A Ghetto Boys song especially. It's called My Mind's Playin Tricks On Me (or something about like that) My fascination with the song is extremely weird because I would normally be screaming and ranting in annoyance about any music or band even remotely like it or them. <g>

    But it gets worse - I like the video for the song even More. <g>

    Why did you remove this radio? What did you install in it's place?

    BTW: My original radio is black. This one being silver may make it look odd in my dash I guess. On the other hand; so long as it works OK - what do I care? <g>
