I have an exactly identical set of these on my Tacoma. I ordered these for a friend but before we ever got to install them he totaled his truck.
So these have been in the original box that they came in. I only opened it so I could have pictures to post.

Just curious why would someone want these?

 

To make your vehicle more unique. I put them on my truck because I liked both the price and the product. Some people think their 'ricey' but everyone at my high school and work love them. I always get compliments and people ask me where I got them.

 

They have lots of functions too. Just YouTube 'led colormorph halos' and you should see what they're capable of.

 

But for everyday driving pretty much they do nothing, and in Mass will be illegal to use on the streets. And I am sure in many State's will be illegal for on road use.

 

Well in Oklahoma they can be any color as long as they are not changing colors or flashing. I drive by cops all the time with mine on green, blue and other colors. Never been stopped once for them. Check with your state laws for exact details as far as what colors are illegal. And by nothing you mean look super cool, right?

I agree there is a lot of non high schoolers who love halos, they might not like the logistics of colormorph though. I think the colormorph just enhances their use. I mean if someone didn't like the other colors they could just leave it on white or amber anyways. That'd pretty much outsource the point of colormorphs though.

 

I have these same ones got them on special. My trucks unique as it is and when people ask to look at it I turn these in as an extra WOW factor. Bump for you glws

They're meant for just day time driving lights. They show up great even in direct sunlight. They have a brightness setting that allows you to control them to be brighter or dimmer. When I had them on white and on the brightest settings I'd say they're brighter than my headlights for sure.
