    Its not going to fit your truck . JL changed the design in 2012. The 2012 and up come with a 10w3.

    Thanks for the welcome. I've been on the forum for quite a while, but never posted, just soaked in the knowledge here. :)
    After shipping, I figured this was a reasonable price given they are available brand new with free shipping for $799. I also got a great deal through a friend who worked for a car audio retailer so the loss becomes pretty minimal at this price.

    The speakers that I had in them were 5.56" cutout required so I am 95% sure that they are 5.6". I am out of town until Wednesday but can measure when I am back to be 100% sure.

    Ok well good luck with sale. That is great price this shouldn't last too long. I really like the bass that it offers in my truck.

    I understand they changed the design for newer models, but what if I just took the whole black plastic try out of the back.... any chance of making this fit?? I have a 2013 double cab.

    At least the passenger side of the plastic part has to come out anyway. There are metal brackets behind there that the box just slides into perfectly. So you would just have to check to see if the brackets mounted behind the plastic are the same, and if they are not maybe you could get rid of them not really sure :notsure:
