Just as the title says. I live in Los Angeles, CA! It would be ideal to trade someone here locally.

The trade went down, Thanks Chris!

I'm interested. I have a 2013, live in Ontario. Don't mind heading that way, I work in Carson. Just curious how we would go about it. I have never removed or installed a window.

Haha sweet. Do you remember how much the guy charged for the swap? Just trying to get a rough estimate.

It's a discontinued spoiler that was offered at southern Toyota dealerships a few years back. The TRD emblem was a add on from me. :)

My local glass guy told me when you pulled the rear window it would have to be damaged in such a way that it couldn't be reused. If people have done this swap before maybe I should find a different glass guy.

I would guess he's uneducated. He's not my buddy but doesn't seem like the lazy type. Glad I now know it's do-able. The center window that actually slides is broken on my truck. Previous owner didn't strap down his four wheeler tight enough. I might have to find a wrecked second gen and swap out the rear glass. He also told me I have to replace the whole housing not just that one sliding part. Is that true?

I got a new windshield from a dude (many to choose from) Craigslist for $140. Maybe call and ask for a rear window. Couldn't be more than the front, especially if no slider??

I was quoted $360 installed without the slider and $365 with it

Hey, OP... That is one sweetly executed truck build. The lines are nice and smooth, and I can see where you're going with the smoothed out rear glass. A non-slider will remove the boxed look from the rear. Very nice.

The truck would be entirely useless up here in Canada, but sweet nonetheless.

Once the trade was made, I went straight to the tint shop to get 5% tint installed on the new solid window.
