    Howdy,

I have a 2010 Taco. I've purchased some nice JL Audio TR650.CSi speakers from Crutchfield. The kit comes with bracket adaptors for the woofers, but the tweeters that come with it only have "hockey Puck" mounts. No kit comes with the Crutchfield purchase.
I called Tech support at Crutchfield and was advised to either screw them to the metal with the "hockey puck" adapter or fab an ABS cover over the existing factory speaker mounts and screw it to that.

I've seen some posts on this site that showed adapters for the tweeters from another manufacturer. Don't know if these would work.

    Any advice?
