Could you please tell me more about this? I have an '09 and I plug my iPod into the AUX jack to listen to podcasts on my long commute. I have to max out the volume on both the iPod and the radio to be able to hear it over the road/wind noise at highway speeds though - and sometimes it's still too low (if the podcast was recorded at a low level).

Is THIS what you're talking about? Do you have to cut the factory wiring between the AUX input jack and the radio - or is it just a matter of unplugging the factory line & filter and replacing it with the new one?

Sorry to hijack your for sale thread.

    1. Sure
    2. Yes
    3. Yes

The AUX-Jack has a cable that plugs into it. The other end plugs into the Toyota Noise Filter. Another cable plugs into the other side of the filter. The other end of that cable then connects directly to "R3" on the back of your radio.

If you choose to replace the OEM filter, simply unplug the two cables from it. Then, cut the connectors off, and attach a 3.5mm audio plug on the cable coming from the jack and a 3.5mm jack on the cable that's directly connected to R3. Remember, "Tip" is LEFT and "Ring" is RIGHT. Don't forget to reconnect the AUX-Enable and GND lines as well. Please see the attached file for the pinouts & wiring diagram. Also, review the TSB doc to familiarize yourself with the components.

Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
Do you still have this? If so I'll take it off your hands. I know its been a while since you last posted
