    No, it doesn't work out of the box with the steering wheel controls. You'll need to purchase an aftermarket module. I have the same head unit in my tacoma and really like it!! I never thought I would use the blue-tooth so much! Oh yeah, and having a detachable face has cut the "worried I'm gonna get jacked" factor down considerably.

    I didn't have steering wheels controls in my truck, but i think there is an additional module you need to buy to make them work
