    Saw a brand new filter kit for sale so price drop $150 shipped (lower 48)obo.

    Can't I drop the resonator from the fenderwell and let this try to breathe in cooler air from there? I have those open vents in the plastic fender liner blocked off already so crap doesn't get slung onto the back of the fog light so that should keep excessive moisture from getting into the engine bay from the hole just being open in front of the filter. Also, my truck is prerunner daily driver so the most wetness would be from freeway rainy driving, won't be a bunch of mudding or stream crossing going on.
