I'd like to find someone local-ish to swap gears with.

Paid $1374.50 from ECGS + cores

    now they've gone up - 30$

    4.56s solid sleeve

    e-locker/open

$900 plus trade for low mileage stock 3rds and I will help with swap - has to come to me.

rear pinion is barely seeping gear oil haven't heard anything from ECGS -- been a couple weeks now :/

Think they fucked the seal up.

Not many miles on the rear and it's less than a year old. The front is around 2 years old with ~20k miles on it.

3rds are in truck, need to swap everything same day.

    Re: pinion seal leak:

I had the same thing on mine when filling to level with the fill hole with 85-140w. I think at temperature the heavier weight oil acts like a pretty gnarly overfill and pushes oil past the pinion seal. And no, my diff breather isn't clogged, but it is relocated, meaning a longer hose with more air resistance inside it.

You running 85-140? If you are, try underfilling it about .25 quart to compensate for the heavier weight. I did this and haven't had the issue since.

Oh yeah...and why you lookin' to offload your geared diffs? New plans?

Toyota specs 75-90. ECGS recommends 85-140 for hard use.

I'm running 80w-90 because it's cheap and easy to find. Thanks though man, I'll check the level this weekend regardless.

Traded 35s for 33s, trying to take the Taco back to a cheaper configuration and one that may be easier to sell in the future while putting some cash in my pocket now.

    ...because I bought a 1992 80 series Land Cruiser.

    Plans are:
    12 valve cummins, NV4500 trans, NP205, 60/14bolt, 3 link/leaves

    Have fun with the 80.

I'm thinking next build needs to start with me just bending tube and frying it together until there's a chassis there. That's a few years out though.
