Will a 265-75 fit for a spare?

I am looking to get a spare the same size as the rest of my tires. Will a 265-75-16 fit under the truck?

You can fit alot under there...just depends on how much you gotta/wanna cut out.

 

it should. theres about an extra inch of space not being used by the stock rugged fails. im going to be doing the same thing myself in the near future.

it will, just bend out the two brackets that are near the axle. I didn’t want to cut them completely out in fear of the tire rattling around under there while going over rough terrain, and putting more stress on the cable that is necessary.

 

..........make sure you check the manufactured date code so you don't get a 10 year old tire.
