Makeover year?

Hi,

first of all please excuse my english as i'm french speaking.

Is it known in wich year Toyota will redesign the Tacoma? I currently have a 2006 4x4 Double Cab Long bed, that i love, but will likely wait till the model change to trade it.

Also, is there any hint that they will offer the diesel engine for the Tacoma in North America like they do for the remaining of the world? I literally crave for it.

2011 is getting a new grill, but i'm not sure when the complete redesign is, maybe 2012

 

Salut! As of right now, there is no plan from Toyota to release a deisel option in N. America.

 

I'd really like a diesel. For good mileage, sure, but more for the torque it provide when towing. No more need to accelerate at the base of a hill...
