I was in San Francisco with some friends and my car got damaged too. But it was the asshole valet dickheads in my hotel that did it and claimed it was there before...

    Just the basics
Have you ever been to Cali? Are vehicles not vandalized in NC?
I've been to North Cackalaki among other east coast states. Although I don't care for them from past experiences I wouldn't say that I would not live on the east coast. There are pros and cons to each wonderful state in the Union!

Theft and Vandalism. Two things I despise. I have my CHL. Doubtful I would shoot some one over this, but the police would have to unscrew my .45 from his ear if lucky enough to catch in the act. The problem is they are seldom caught. Probably have a look out while the others do the deed.

Damn... this is my biggest fear now that I have a new truck. My last truck was pretty beat up from me driving it like a tank. I didn't have to worry about anyone breaking into it because it looked like nothing valuable could be in it. I left it unlocked 99% of the time and never had a problem. Now, with my Tacoma I'm freaking out about people near the truck... at least Texas has the Castle Doctrine. Some bad dude comes knocking on my castle, I get to give him a hammered pair back. :)

Was the OP's the only vehicle vandalized? Might have been personal.

I sympathize. The same thing happened to my friend at a show in Atlanta except only broken window and stolen goodies on the inside. It hurts man :(

Assuming it's the truck in your sig, i'm not surprised though. It looks pretty customized and therefore, a theft MAGNET.

Yes, this is the correct attitude. NO NO NO & FUCK NO ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? are the only responses to that question...if anyone is bold enough to even ask. Glad it wasn't worse. Remember, nothing good ever happens from anyone borrowing your truck. I don't care who it is. I won't even go into the technicalities of the borrower being on your insurance or not and what that can leave you holding. Just don't do it. The price for being casually nice about things to help someone else out is just too stupid high these days. It sucks that things force you into thinking defensively about every MF thing going on but not doing it is just too expensive nowadays on several levels.

wow, must be nice to live somewhere that shit dont stink. congrats!

to the OP, sorry this happened. sucks enough to have junk stolen, but to have to fix the entry damage is a kick in the nuts while you are down. it blows.

where did this happen? love to know, just so i can be wary should i find myself in the same hood. but eff it, it's why we have insurance. i refuse to live in fear..

and why bag on the person that borrowed the rig? could happen to anyone. sure she feels bad enough. and my insurance covers whoever is driving my truck. no questions.

Alrite here are some pictures, turns out the people who did this are retarted, they left the headunit, valentine one, scan gauge, and cash in the middle compartment. They took 2 purses with a combined 46 bucks between the two. Im feeling kinda lucky. For the worst possible situation it went pretty well.
