2nd gen Bud Built skid plate question / request

Can someone show a close up picture or explain in detail where exactly on the frame the rear mounts on the BB skid plate bolt to on the 2nd gen Taco? There is a forum user in my thread and a guy in my e-mail who wants to know if there will be interference problems with the skid plate mounts and my sliders. Any info is appreciated and you can vaguely see it in a picture in this link. Thanks in advance.

hhhmmm, interesting. I assumed there were a bunch of guys on here running them, interesting. Yeah if it comes down to giving him a call that's what I'll do I guess. Thanks man.

 

I am planning on running a set, but it will be a while before I have all the funding...If you find out they dont work with your sliders let me know..haha

 

Even if they did collide, it would be a pretty simple fix. It looks like they have L brackets on the very rear leg things, I just don't know where they land exactly. The skid legs could probably be mounted right under the sliders' L brackets.

 

I don't have pics tonight but my slider mounts interfered with the rear Budbuilt crossbar. It was a easy fix, his rear bar has a fairly long piece of angle that bolts to the frame and in my case I just trimmed off a couple inches. if your slider mounts are right where the crossbar is it still wouldn't be that big of a deal if you have some way to notch the angle or make a couple spacers if needed.

OK since Im already dirty I went out and looked, it wasn't the sliders that interfered it was my air tank that I had to trim for . But here are some pics that show the placement of the crossbar, you can see it's up against the back of the boxed section of the frame.

 

Ah, perfect pics Timber! It looks like the BB brackets won't be anywhere near my slider brackets. And if they come close, like you said, maybe just a slight trim of the BB bracket will do the trick. Thanks for taking the time to help with this man, much appreciated.
