You silly people. anyone gets "fleet pricing" just a neat phrase we use so people will understand they are getting a good deal. for what ever reason when you tell them.. this is a good deal or its so much above or below invoice.. it does not have the same effect as fleet pricing.. blows my mind.

Exactly.. the more "standar" the "options" become then the higher base price. I got my 05 with the works including VSC, Side AirBags, etc... I'm sure I paid more being classified as OPTIONS than what the trucks are going for with them as STANDARD.

I met a guy from Canada (Craig)at another forum meet and he said he paid shit load more more for his truck. He was kicking himself in the ass for not going over the bridge to Detroit and getting his truck there. BTW Welcome to the site man!

    Thanks for the welcome.

I have a 2009 on order in Canada. For a base truck it is not worth it to go to the USA. For a 4x4 DC it is worth the drive - save about $7000!!!

Check out www.carsdirect.com. The last 3 cars I have purchased I have used this information when buying. Just tell the dealer you can either buy it from them and pick it up on their lot or buy it from carsdirect at pick it up on the dealers lot. It takes a lot of bitching, but everytime I have gotten them down to that price. 2 out of 3 I had to walk out to get them to go that low. Must be a decent deal with as much work as it takes, lol.
