Well, its not my truck, its my dads. I'm just on TW for info, mods, and etc...

Crazy thing is,the dealer let them drive off the lot without a down payment last Tuesday. Not even a single penny.

I wish the would pay for my stuff like that :anonymous:

Looks like you've got a pretty nice Celica though. I've always loved that final generation, so good looking and fun to drive. The tC wheels are a nice touch as well.

Went halves with my parents. I paid 8.5k straight up, they are paying monthly payments that end next year. I am a college student who commutes in Maine all seasons and need to get to my nursing clinical/class. Only a Tacoma guarantee's my arrival during the brutal winters of Maine :)

I've been mowing yards to get a car/truck since I was 8, saved all my money, christmas, birthdays.. my dad bought me an 04 5-spd tacoma for 8800 with 50k miles when I was 16. I really wanted an 05-10 looked around for a year, only 17yrs old and found one this 73yr old woman had, went 7 hrs to get an 06 Tacoma silver 6spd prerunner for 16,400 with 14,500 miles on it. dad bought the 04 back from me for 8k and I put up the rest in cash, and have loved it ever since. bitches love the new truck lets put it that way.

Well I did post multiple times that's its not mine and i'm just here for info, mods, things for sale, etc.

7th ggeneration is nice. Pretty light compared to its competition. Weighing in at 2500lbs. The 2ZZ-GE in the GTS is great and compares well to the k20,but aftermarket support is what's.holding it back.

The tC wheels i hhave on mine are soo heavy and the MPG was affected. only reason use the wheels is because I have nice rubber on my stock 15's that I use for autox. By in no means is the car quick in the straight in stock form, but its pretty agile on tight courses.

My dad bought my truck new in 08 for me, basically. It was payed for in 3 years. Now, when I ask what we are riding in, he says "Your truck.". I can say though, that he hasn't paid for everything though. I worked and paid for the Bilstein 5100s, the Add-A-Leaf, the rims, and some of the tires. So I can't say that it was all handed to me. All this has occured with me being 15 years old.

Bought mine off my high school ROTC instructor when I was 16. Dump almost all my life savings to buy the truck. Cost 8000$, and had about 73K miles on it that was back in late 2007. Best purchase ive ever made. Still going strong today 150K miles on her always my DD. Lots of good memories with my truck dont think ill ever part with it.

Ehhh well guess it depends on your parents too. lol I know my parents wouldnt be happy if I came home with a huge dent or ding in my truck. Bad curb appeal I think thats why. Then again my truck is my DD so im smarter to not do anything stupid enough with it that I know it cant handle or possibly could put it out of commision. Down the road im looking to get another Tacoma havent decided between 1st or 2nd gen. For now ill have to keep mine running.
