Thats why I did my down payment with my CC :D

I got 72 months at 1.90%...but it will probably be paid off in about 36.

Last car I bought was 60 months. I paid it off in 5.

I'll be paid off in September. Did a 12 month plan because I'm trying to get and stay debt free aside from my mortgage. Payments were a little higher but I'm hoping it'll be worth it when all is said and done.

With a low rate of 1.5 percent, not really in a rush to pay it off (pretty much free money). Paying it off would be more of a piece of mind type thing ( which is valuable to some), but can get a better return elsewhere (brokerage acct) vs paying down the truck.

I had the cash to pay for it. I was playing games with the dealer, they're playing games with me :).

When the leave with your offer don't wait at the salesman's desk, go to the restroom and hide for a bit, next time go get a free coffee.

I think buying cars is fun.

It can be. I was walking out the door before they made an offer I considered. Then they came down another 800 and I took the deal. At the finance desk I got the "alarm system" for free. They wanted $500 for a system that was already installed...they just had to "turn it on"
