Just debadged, and I was going to paint the badges white and put them back on (Tacoma only, no V6, SR5, etc.) but now I'm thinking Red badges, Red tacoma emblem in the grill, and the Ballistic off road 814 wheels with the red trim might be a sick combo...

Give me your opinion, rip me a new one if you think this color scheme sounds gay haha

Do they make like a red tint kinda stuff? So it would still be chrome shiny AND red... that would be cool
But just red would be cool too, different to say the least.

Thanks, yeah I'm thinking i'm gonna go with the red badges, if I screw it up its not a huge fix to re-do, I'll definitely post pics when its done... possibly this weekend!

I'm excited to see how this turns out. I've gotta decide what to do wheel-wise... within a couple months I'm going to do a 6" pro-comp lift stage 1, on 33's... I've been completely set on the 18" XD Monsters, but now I'm considering the Ballistic Off Road 814's with the red accent/ring on them. What do you guys think, which of the 2? I'm kind of pumped about doing a mostly white, some black, and just the right amount of red theme...

Ordered my 6" procomp lift, XD Monsters, and Nitto Trail Grapplers (33s) yesterday!

I'm about to head outside to paint the badges red, and my newest idea which I think will be awesome with the black monsters... red brake callipers :)

The lift won't be on for a few weeks but I'll post up some pics once I get those red badges on.... probably tomorrow

Monsters and Trail's look right. I love them.

To the other guy, I would get the wheels with the red accent if you're going with the red theme.

Thanks man, thats funny I've been researching for weeks what lift/wheel/tire combo I want, and I kind of decided on monsters and trails, and was browsing around on here trying to find different tacos with monsters so I could see how they look, and I ran across your truck with the exact wheel/tire combo I wanted... I was impressed and it helped set my decision in stone! your truck is badasss man, props!

Yeah 18s... I was thinking about doing 35s, but I think 33s look the cleanest and are the smartest for a daily driver, and then I don't have to deal with as much power loss, possibly needing to re-gear, etc. I had a 2 door tahoe from when I was 16 to 20, and I put a 13" suspension lift on that with 38s, I'm not going back down that road again lol that thing was a money pit...

Done with the RED! I'm psyched, I think it came out awesome, and it looks like I might be the first to do it on a super white... for now :)

Anyways... here are the pics as promised... one before, and then pics of the calipers and badges...

I ended up doing the drums black, it was super easy and I'm sooo glad I did it with my new lift/wheels/tires, the rusty/crappy drums would've looked terrible
