I am a big fan of vinyl and I think it looks good. The nice thing is that if you get tired of it you can take it off. I did the bumper and the fenders. I am considering the hood for less glare when off road...like the new FJ TT.

Looks really nice! It really works great with the black accents of the mirrors, handles, steps and bed.

How much does this cost? how durable is it? how hard to take off if it gets damaged?

I think it looks pretty sweet man. It gets hot out here on the east coast (especially this year) but I'd like to try something like that. Where'd you get your vinyl to do it? I have some bad scratches and dings from dump trucks throwing rocks up and them landing on top of the cab already and that would be a nice way to cover them up and protect the rest of the top of the cab at the same time...

I like it, something different. I would do the bottom middle of the bumper black now. Think that would tie it all together. But I agree it will make the cabin hotter for sure!

You should be able to go to any vinyl shop or art store and pick some up. It is usually sold by the ft/yard so you can buy however much you need. It's relatively cheep too. You can probably pick up enough to do all that for less than $50. Your biggest problem would be finding some that that is wide enough to do the hood without having to do multiple strips.

I once wrapped my chrome grill (before I bought a colour match) and the lower bumper section, it only cost me $8.

    FELLOW OREGONIAN!!!!

I think it looks pretty good really. I'm wondering what it would look like if you did the hood also. Then the hood, cab and bed would all flow together.......At least it's just vinyl! Then if you get tired of it or hate the look....easy fix.

    I'm kinda diggin it though.

    Nice job!
Way to just do it without caring what others think. I like the Matte Black look and if you compliment it with BHLM & Tinted tails. It will flow much better. Look into a black Grille or color matched grille.
