So I hopped on the Toyota band wagon and bought my first Tacoma, 2007 4.0 4x4 SR5(I am sure it wont be my last). I really like the quality of the truck and how it rides. Anyone think I'll regret buying a automatic? I've driven standards since I was 17 and really like them for what they are, but finding a 4x4 with a manual in texas is like finding a needle in a haystack and then trying to thread it with 12ga wire.:D Also, does anyone have any experience with trailmark tires? They came on the truck brand new

Truck looks great. I'm sure you'll be happy with it. As far as the auto - that's just preference. I like it 'cause I got tired of stop & go traffic with a clutch. For me, the weekend car has the clutch.

Like you my previous trucks were manuals
but like having the automatic, especially because i got a remote starter installed in this one - Love it..

As far as tires I got rid of the stock tires a few months after getting the truck
I found these Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, and was really impressed.
Used to be a BFG guy, but a year later i am so glad i bought these.

welcome to the club, have fun!
