I am curious of the ride quality after the TSB as well. Also, does the 4 pack leaf spring raise the rear at all? I have seen some posts that it does raise it a bit.
I am going to contact my dealership and see if they can do the TSB when I take it in on thursday. I will refuse the pedal mod, I have a manual so if my gas pedal gets stuck, I will just push in the clutch... I am not worried at all so...

It appears that the rear spring TSB lifted the rear of my truck about an inch, maybe an inch and a half, but I didn't measure before and after.

If you think a truck should be plush like a caddy you wont like the spring TSB ride. If you have driven trucks & like the ride of a truck its pretty damn good IMO, I prefer the ride post TSB but I realize I bought a truck not a caddy. I think it handles better cornering now less body roll in hard corners.

Is the TSB only for trucks that are still under warranty. What about those of us that bought an extended warranty?

Have you even bothered to read the TSB? 3yr or 36k miles whichever comes first.

Yup, if you're still under the standard warranty. I've read of folks with the extended warranty getting denied, but I've also read of folks that went past the standard w/o extended warranty and still got their leafs. So pretty much give it a shot anyway...what's the worst they can say.

I remember seeing in the TSB there's a list specifying which Tacos were eligible by the vehicle descriptor in your VIN. I'm just not sure what's the most current version of the TSB floating around out there.

I have an 06 TRD Sport 4x4, double cab also. Obviously they know there is a problem. And I know several people who own trucks that don't use them as trucks. I do. Please........someone..........Why won't they change my springs because I'm beyond the 3/36? Did they magically get better? In my opinion, they are admitting the problem with the TSB. Can you tell they just told me "no" yesterday? lol And the Toyota Help lady says I can't talk with anyone above her level. "Supervisors don't talk on the phone". Anyone outside of warranty had any luck? If so, what did you do? Just bought the truck 4 months ago and was shocked that it squatted the way it did with minimal weight.

Not sure it's worth the effort to try and get the TSB, meaning you're in a boat without a paddle. You will get no where. If your truck suspension is lacking, there are options to either buy replacement leaf spring packs or something like Tembren's that replace your bump stop with a much better product. I don't have the Tembrens yet but that's the route I'm going. I could get the TSB but I don't want the harsher ride and I only use my truck to haul heavy things a few times a year. Tembrens are the perfect match for me. There is a thread here talking about them so do a search if you like.
