    Hey guys,
I know quite a few guys have imported their trucks to Canada from the US. I had a question. I have found the truck that I want, but now I have a question about the export process now.
If I was to buy a new never titled truck from a dealership under a friends name who is out-of-state; I know they don't have to pay sales tax until they register it. So would it be possible for me to purchase the truck under my friends name and have him sell it to me before he titles it, saving me the sales tax or would the truck need to be titled before I can export it to Canada? I'm going to have to pay the Canadian taxes at the point of export, just trying to save some cash if I can without getting anyone in trouble.

Any help is appreciated, PM me if you like

    Thanks!!

Make sure you get all the recalls taken care of before you try to import the vehicle!!!

Do your research. The process isn't complicated but make sure you understand before you do it.
