Here's a question about a lift...

So, I'm sure the question has been asked tons of times "what lift should i get" or "what lift would you recommend".

How about this question, I'm planning on doing a 3" lift/leveling kit (whatever you want to call it) What kits would you NOT recommend? Going at it from a different angle.... Also, if you can please state the "why factor"

Then, answer the question. What are you trying to accomplish? Looks, rock crawling, desert running?

 

Great point. To answer, I'm trying to accomplish looks, and drivability. I do minimal off-roading, and would be willing to deal with whatever quirks I have to. I just want a decent looking 3" lift/leveling that will clear 33's without too much fuss. But it has to drive well on regular road (I drive at least 60 miles a day). I just dont know that a $1100 leveling kit that much better than the $200 kits I see on ebay....

Judging by that, I'd recommend the OME complete kit. It's $700 and will produce a great ride (I've heard from many people) and will last for you. It's a quality kit. It contains coilovers (coils & shocks), therefore making it a whole lot better than a spacer kit. Stay very far away from spacer kits, as I've heard of very rough rides and other problems. Many people have the OME kit and love it... Good luck!
