How to bond parts geek grill?...

Got my grill from parts geek today and wondering how those who know have bonded the two pieces together? My first thought was to melt the tabs? Or epoxy?...through me a bone!

Sorry man, I don't have one of these grills...yet, but I know there's a lot of folks on here that have gotten them for building Satoshis. I've read of people doing either of both methods you mentioned above.

Give it some time I'm sure someone else that has one will respond.

Mine was already bonded when I got it
I never had to take mine apart to do mine.
On mine though it looks as if the little tabs are melted into place if that helps.

i used this stuff called shoe go, mount up the little tabs and put the adhesive on the tab and let it flow, i have had mine on for months abd everything is great with it, you can also use a soldering iron and melt the tabs, you choice

I have one, and just went through the same thing. I bought locktite epoxy from Lowes. It comes in a siringe.

http://www.amazon.com/Henkel-1060027.../dp/B001W9SFTG

I bought the one that dries in 5 mins. It worked well, as I glued it together at each tab around the outside and clamped it together with clamps, waited 20 mins, and then cut the center out of the grill. No issues. Its a BITCH to get all of those little tabs in place. Good luck. PM me if you have any other questions.

Yea, I found that using a knife helped me position the tabs into the slots (because it was thin) once I started getting everything together.
