Painted factory roof racks!

    Lift & Tires, in cab power outlets, Locking Bed Boxes, K&N
    Has anyone painted their factory roof racks to match their trucks color? Factory racks on a black truck look good, but I am torn on other truck colors.

    Sirius, Bugflector,back-rack, stepsides.
    The paint would wear off real quick if you actually use it for its purpose

    Lifted, Slider, stock rack, rear mounted winch in stock bumper, brush guard, Sound system, ipod to car, tint, wheel spacers, 285 bfg AT,
    their are so many different materials used in those rack from powder coated steel to abs plastic to a weatherstripping material, i dont think that you could find a paint that would properly adhere to all these surfaces, matching the stock color and all the paints matching each other
    .

    Thats an interesting question, would be neat to see. Ever think about using that color matched Rhino or Line-X? (I forget who makes the color matched bed liner) Let me know how it works out, if it goes well for you I might have to follow suit :D

    It would be hard to do, plus it would look ridiculous, IMO.

    I've never seen it done and I dont think it would look that good but thats just me.:cool:
