I believe you need rear shocks to accommodate the lift, and new ones in the front wouldn't be a bad idea either.

You can also get rear shock extenders to use your stock shocks if you don't want new rear shocks.

I believe I have this Kit. OME 881 coils up front with a 2 inch spacer and 1in top plate. You can use the stock shocks

You will need the pro comp extended shocks for the rear.

It's a lil stiff up front but I'm used to it.
And for Gods sake get it alligned directly afterwards or it will chew up and spit out your front bearings.

Call and ask for Ben. He will hook you up.

5 lugs have totally different set-up in the front. They don't use the same coil overs.

I have this kit on my first gen, but I also got the rear shocks, differential drop kit, and brake proportioning valve. My alignment was never right after i installed all this so I bought some LR upper control arms from toytec as well and what a difference. Now my truck goes straight and I get no vibrations at all! I would look into getting all this together if i were you and just find the discount code here on tacomaworld and you might get a good deal.

Upper control arms are needed if you get a lift of 3" or more in most cases. The ones toytec sells are adjustable where there are -2 degrees of caster built in to correct for lifting the truck.
