for less then 7k you could get a supercharger kit and IIRC it bumped it up to 240. but if you have 7k to spend I would recommend going and getting a v6

    completely stock
they dont make a reg cab v6.
A supercharger with stock gearing on a 4 banger would woop on a v6 off the line. 240hp with 4.10 gearing...yeehaa

if your gonna spend that 7K on a supercharger and what not. just spend that 7K towards an AC or DC with a V6. hell i dont think its even a 7K difference between the RC 4Cyl and the DC V6...with the extra money left over you probably can get a supercharger for the V6 instead.

    There's a 998 hp 2.7 floating around somewhere.

Now that I'd like to see. I can't imagine there's much that's stock as far as engine / drivetrain. That's a lot of power out of a 4-banger!

I prefer the shorter wheel base of the reg cab, manuvers realy well in tight places, just looking for a little more umph!

I'm looking to get about 200 hp at the rw. is it possible without having to rebuild all the internals?

    completely stock
its possible for 200hp to the rear wheels on stock internals.... these engines are tough. cast iron block, 5 main bearings. its a tough engine. stock with S/C will get you 240hp maybe 200 to the wheels.
