This thread is way past due as I got them a while back. I had them make me up a set of their hybrid sliders with short legs so they would fit nice and tight to the body of my truck. I had them welded on by a local auto shop here in miami. I'm really pleased with both the product and the customer support of demello. I would recommend them any day of the week. So far I havent really tested my sliders out except for seeing how my hilift lifted my truck with them. They have however left the back of my left leg bald , I'm now training myself to step out further when I get out.

Thanks guys, I paid $150 which was actually what demello charges if I was close to them and would have had them do it. It would have been nice to do it myself but thats a skill I do not poses.

yeah he said his wouldnt look as good as the stuff on the sliders, but as long as its strong and holds I dont care what t looks like, you cant see those welds unless youre under the truck anyway.

grind the welds a little and spray em with some ruberized undercoating it will keep them from rusting and will help the "looks" a little

    Mike!
Glad to see this thread! I had pics I was gonna send you with the comparison of normal length legs and the ones we built for you. Regardless, looks like it all turned out great.

If you were out here we coulda hooked ya up on the welds, lol. Every body has to start somewhere. I used to suck donkey balls too but day to day experience along side someone like Jason, if you put forth the effort, will get you what you see on the sliders ;)

You ever need anything else let us know!

    Mike,
JC in disguise here. Actually I just had start logging in on this account coz the new sales guy is the suxorz at checking this account ;)

When the 3rd Gen is out we'll be on it dude. We're already working on a plate bumper and sliders for the 2010 4RNR. Jason originally bought his FJ to get in on that scene before it even started. Turned into a better wheeler for hauling kids and a dog than his old SAC'd Taco had been. He got his wife an 06 4RNR to get into that market (and to get her a new ride, lol). We already make stuff for the new Tundy's too.

Thanks again for all the good reviews man. Like I said before, anything you ever need from us, let us know.

    J. C. P.

Yeah I saw the progress pics over on T4R.org, I go over there every once and a while to keep up with the new 4runners. My friend has one and I really like them and hope the tacoma gets some stuff from them.
