Does anyone else have this on a Taco?

Lexus IS F-Sport shift knob. PN PTR51-53080. Screws right in and seems to sit about 3/8" lower than stock. Leather with blue stitching and real carbon fiber inlay. Got mine for $70 at the Lexus parts counter.

Looks pretty good. I think it might look better if it sat lower against the trim. Can you cut down the metal post and rethread it?

Looks good. Has me thinking, anyone know if the T- shifter and pedals from the Rock Warrior would work on a Tacoma?

70 bucks is pretty standard for a high quality shift knob such as this one.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think $70 for a Lexus F-Sport shift knob that fits perfectly, is a better alternative to the Momo and Sparco universal knobs out there.

    For example:
    Momo Combat Evolution - $92
    http://www.momousa.com/products/combat-evo.html
    Sparco Litium P - $105
    http://www.sparcousa.com/ptuning_knobs.asp?id=547

You'd have to use the existing threads to center the die first, cut the threads, then saw off the excess height. I won't do it on mine, because the current knob height falls readily to the hand while driving.

That looks pretty cool. If only it was a different color stitch, i would probably grab one.

Did you leave the is-f logo on there?

Looks very cool! The kind of mod I might have to look into! It's those little touches that make a truck "personal".

That's funny, I got it specifically because of the blue stitch. Got a blue accent thing going on in my interior now. Steering wheel stitch, seat cover stitch, shift knob stitch...
