    Too many
Anyone ever put a FJ big brake package on their tacoma?
I was thinking of doing this since the only one for a tacoma fits on the x-runner.

I would like to do this mod...but at a later time...

yes you can use the TRD BBK meant for the FJ Cruiser since they share the same lug pattern...:D

Can you still run 16" wheels? Or are 17's required?

honestly for that price tag your only buying the name...

the trd off road trucks come with 4 caliper disc brakes up front...I believe the TRD BBK are still 4 caliper discs with larger rotors...

you can always find a fj cruiser with the rear end in tact...that way pull that disc brake kit off the rear and you would only need to have the mounting brackets fabricated...:D

IMO not worth the price. Also note this just replaces the front brakes, not the rear drums.

most of us understand that is a complete front brake replacement...

not much people know that the rotors are the only things that are larger and the caliper maybe a little larger the the OEM 4 caliper setup for the TRD OFF-ROAD models...for this type of money I would prefer to get a 6 caliper setup with larger rotors (in front) and 4 caliper (for the rear)...also upgrade the rear drums to discs...along with upgrading master brake cylinder...

it only set you back a few thousand $$$$...lol
