Dealership screwed up my truck

So I took my truck into the dealership on Friday because I had to get a CV joint replaced and get an alignment. Well I'm not sure what they did for an alignment because I have to turn the wheel slightly to the right to drive straight, and the truck pulls all over the road at highway speeds worse then it did before. Also on the CV Joint they worked on, I can hear metal banging around when I hit bumps in the road and some of the plastic in the wheel well is cracked and broken. I've always had great service from the dealership, and to say the least I'm kind of pissed off I added a picture of my steering wheel so you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm just wondering what causes the wheel to do that?

this is about how far I have to turn the wheel while driving straight.

 

Looks like they did not center the wheel when/if they did the alignment.
I'd be back in there getting them to fix it all...

 

I would make em fix it.

Wow they need to fix that. The metal clanging around and wondering... sounds like a serious safety issue to me.

 

this thread is the reason why i do not trust any place with my truck besides my garage. besides an alignment of course.

 

Which dealer in NC was this? Need to steer clear of them!

 

I would've U-turned right back to that dealer that's what.

 

Did they give you a printout of what your alignment numbers were/are now? You should post them here. Maybe someone could help you with those. When I got my alignment, my tires were wearing on the outside. I think the guy told me if you drop the camber (again, i think) number, better wear but more highway travel. I might be completely wrong here. Sounds like your numbers are off or at least not to your liking/what you are used to. Post your numbers.

 

Yea but the alignment number can be perfect and you would never know if they centered the steering wheel
