At Dealership Now and I have a questiona bout the TSB REAR SPRING

I am here at the dealership and they just finished with my rear spring TSB
T-SB-0305-08. I notice there is a slight different in the back from the front. Is this normal? Will it level back out? I actually considred a lift, but I haven't decided yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

The rear will settle down over time. IMO well worth having it done and I hope to do mine very shortly.

 

I don't really carry any huge loads in the bed of my truck, but I brought in a list of TSB's and the dealership I am at, is really good about doing what the customer wants. I just didn't know it was going to make a differnce in the look of the vehicle. I mean its not much, but it is there. The service person told me that it would ride much firmer.

 

It will ride a little firmer and you will notice it for a little while, but in a week or so you won't even know anything had changed. Well worth doing even if you don't carry loads, because your springs won't start to sag from old age as soon later down the line.

 

Even after settling it will sit 3/4 - 1 inch higher then it did. If you want the stock rake back you'll need to lift the front some. 5100s work well for this (.85 lift), or spacers could also be used.
