how much weight

i am trying to get a pallet of grass for my yard but i am not sure if my 09 tacoma DC sport will carrie it. it is the 4.0 V6. does any one know the weight limit or has anyone ever carried that much weight before. Thanks.

 

I'm not sure how much a pallet of grass weighs but the payload capacity is 1430 lbs. That's for my 2010 DC SR5. My truck is only 2 weeks old so I don't have any experience hauling. I got the capacity from the manual.

 

Hell yea. A whole pallet of grass. Oh wait....it's for your yard. nm.

 

Damn, beat me to it! Someone had to throw a wise ass comment in there about the pallet of grass.

Whoever you're buying it from should be able to tell you what it weighs. I would guess you'll want to trailer it. I'm pretty positive you'll be over the hauling capacity but shouldn't be an issue with a trailer.

 

Did a google search, pallet weighs approximately 1,800 lbs give or take. Get a trailer.
