Pretty sure TW prevailing wisdom is:

TSB rear w/ 5100's front set to 1.75 = level and an little lift.

    (this will be my direction)

I just spoke with someone on the phone from DSMS and was told that I could add no more than a 1.5" AAL with the rear 5100's...is this true? I need to add a 2" AAL for what I want to achieve, so am I pooched now?

    Good Morning,
This is Sonny and you just spoke to me on the phone and asked if the shocks would work with 2" of lift in the rear and then I asked if you were going to be driving it off road? You said "No" only on the street and I said you should not have any issues with the rear shocks on the street. Our concern is off road and the suspension going to full droop and the shock acting as a limit strap for the suspension (That's Bad), but since you are only going to be cruising around on the street and never pushing the rear to full droop you will be ok. Our goal is to give you the enough information for what we think will work for your application so you do not have any issues in the long run.Everyone has their own opinions and we encourage you to ask as many questions as you need to so that you can make an educated decision as to what will work best for you.
The rear shocks will work with 2" of lift on the street, and we recommend only 1.5" rear lift and using these shocks if you are going to be out hammering it a lot.
    Hope this helps..
Thank you and as always we appreciate your business..
    Sonny

I don't off road per se, but from time to time when I go back home to BC, I do some play off roading, and drive some logging roads, no rock crawling or anything...will this be a problem with the 5100's and a 2" AAL? I don't mean to be a pain, just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I'd read other threads with guys running the 5100's with 2" AAL's, so I just want to make sure I'll be okay...

    Thanks.

The logging roads are more wash board and the suspension will not ever go to full droop..You will be fine for your application and driving conditions.
    Thanks,

I have a 3" spacer lift in the fromt and AAL in rear and stock shocks(TRD OR). Small amount of rake. Can I use the 5100 to level my truck? Also I heard the ride is much more superior with the 5100s. Right now the back seems to kick out when turning on rough terran.

    Thanks

The 5100s will give you max of 2.5" of lift. So if it's a little higher in the front with the 3" spacer, when you remove those and install the 5100s, it will sit about 1/2" lower in the front. Many members have commented on how much better the ride is, vs the spacers. So I think you'll be pleased.

I just signed up to the forum and found this thread. I am looking to get a front set of 5100's for an 07 Tacoma 4x4 that is waiting for me on a local Toyota lot once I sell my 03.

The 07 has the 4-leaf setup in the rear. I'd like to raise the front to 2.0 - 2.25". But as I understand, the rear will then be 1/4 - 1/2" lower than the front. Is there a way to raise the rear by such a small amount or am I being stupid lol Will the raise in the front by 1.75 be good enough is my concern I guess. I don't want to go too high.

Also, I saw you quoted someone shipping to Canada. Could you do the same for me please?

    Thanks!
