Stock factory roof rails strength

Are our stock 2nd gen roof rails sturdy enough to support a roof light rack setup in off road situations? like this one:

 

or would a cab cage be needed to support that weight?

 

I would do something similar to what Alex did. If you are going to be jumping your truck than it might not hold.

 

Im not a big fan of the lights behind the cab tho...I know on a double cab there are ten weld nuts up there, what about on the access cab? If the light rack is supported by all the weld nuts, and is under 160 lbs (what a lot of factory roof racks are rated), it should hold up alright, shouldnt it?

 

damn, i dont think the access cabs even came with pre-drilled holes with weld nuts in the roof

 

Yes. Its some type of metal and pretty well built.
