Before and after grill pics.

Just wanted to show off my new grill.
It was a very, very easy install and required no cutting on the old grill. I like the fact that I can take it off and go back to the factory grill if I want to.
The pictures do not do it justice, it looks much better in person.

Before

After

When I bought mine it was $111 with free shipping and it included all 4 pieces. I used the "Buy it Now"

Nice job, looks clean. But how easy was it really?

It was so easy that the total install from opening box to being finished took about 25 minutes..........and I loafed...LOL

New wheels are next.... I have these on order 16x8 and they should be here tomorrow. I hope I'm not going overboard on the bling.

Do you guys like these wheels?

Would you guys do white letters in or out? I have Dueler A/T Revos

Trucks gonna look great. As far the letters in or out, thats gonna be tuff. Theres an exhisting poll about it and black is winning. Black Wall or White Letters Showing???
Either way your truck will look good, the red and chrome is a winning combo IMHO.

I'd go w/letters in. Unless you want to take away from the bling that wheel is bringing.

Letters in if you want the chrome to pop even more off of a high gloss (dressed tire). My wife's 4Runner has the white BFG AT lettering and I hate cleaning it compared to my black wall BFG KM2's. Also, the tire side wall will appear to be larger without the white lettering in the middle. Obviously personal preferrence!

The grill looks GREAT! I actually have 4 grills in my Ebay "Watch List" right now. Two of them come from grille4u. (The best deal is the $111, but they're asking $4 shipping, too. Not bad.)

You put them on your truck, so I assume they were high quality and you were satisfied with them?

I saw that you have to drill a small hole for the little triangular grills... Do you think it will look bad/obvious if you ever remove the grill? (I can't think of a reason you would do that, but I'm just wondering how big/bad the hole actually is.)

Great mod!

I can honestly say this is one time that when I opened the box to look at what I had ordered I was very surprised because the quality was much better than I had imagined. It's not often you buy something that exceeds your expectations but this grill sure did.

I was nervous about that too, my truck is a 2008 and when I put the grill on it had less than 500 miles on it. The holes you have to drill are very small and with that piece off you cannot even see the hole. If I had it to do over again I would do it exactly the same, you can take this grill back off and you would never know it had been on there. I love the grill.

I wish now I had taken some pics during the install, I guess I was in too big of a hurry to see what it was going to look like.

Tips for install:
#1 The main grill and the lower grill goes on with s-brackets. A total of 8 S-brackets are used on the main grill. The top 4 and outside bottom 2 brackets go towards the outside of the grill opening (top 4 will aim up, bottom 2 outside will aim down). The two center brackets on the bottom attach towards the center of the grill. Did that make any sense?
It is a very simple install, I promise.
#2 When you put the small pieces on take you time to make sure they fit just the way you want them too. Once you are satisfied with the placement, hold in place with one hand and drill with the other. Do not try to mark the spot and then drill. This hole really needs to be right.

They're on the way!

I just purchased the same grills from the same guy on Ebay - $111 with free S&H, but $4 mandatory insurance. I'll try to get some pictures during the install and post them here.

How long did it take them to make it to you?

I had to read that 3 times, but I finally got it. It makes sense enough.

I'm definitely a mark-then-drill guy, so thanks for this heads-up. I'll take the advice for sure.

I haven't seen any in black... IMO, your truck would look sick with a silver/chrome mesh-style grill. The only ones like that I saw on ebay were $350+, though.

Looks like you did a good job on the installation and the quality looks good. I don't care for the style, but as long as you like it that's good.
