    Hi there. New to the forum. I just got my 2005 Tacoma D-Cab 4x4 TRD Sport last week. I just wanted to know if I have the VSC option? How would I know if I have it?
    I also order Toytec 3" lift coli kit with AAL. I will post before and after pictures later.

    Since you have the 4x4 option then switch into 4H. An indicator on the dash will say VSC OFF. If it does then you have the option :)

    You might need to have a Doctor check for that.

    Ok, I tried that and no VSC OFF so I don't have it then.
    Thanks j4x4ar3

    VSC= Vehicle Stability Control

    On the dash..... look where your driving light switches are (to the left of the steering wheel). Look below that....

    If you have VSC - I believe those 3 buttons are for the VSC system & such.

    If you don't have VSC - they'll be blank switch plates.

    Unfortunately not on an 05. The only extra button that may be included would be the downhill assist button. I think on the new models though there's also a button to turn off VSC similar to the way the 4Runner is setup.
