    Hey,

    I was just wondering where all you guys with your T-Rex eyelids got them at? I like them a lot!. Can you tell me where you got them and howd you put them on your lights? Post pics too is possible! THANKS!

    I attempted and failed miserably, but having ordered the actual eyelids (mine were $50 if I recall) I can see more clearly how he does it. I just put some saran wrap over the headlight to provide a nonstick surface then started laying the fiberglass mat over it so it contoured exactly to the light. It looks like he only did 1 or 2 layers, I had 4. My major problem was getting the mat to actually stay down as it wanted to pop up from the curvature of the lens. Unless you already have the supplies for fiberglassing it'll probably cost you more to DIY than to just buy them.

    You have to paint them yourself. They come gel coated and primered but the color matching is all on you.

    just a heads up if you buy duplicolor coloring......the super white color is spot on, but the clear is what messes it up....DONT use the duplicolor clear, use a diiferent clear.
