Had mine done a couple of weeks ago. I got a free oil change rather than a shampoo, which was nice since I need an oil change. They also washed they vehicle. I can tell no diffeence in pedal. I like toe old mats better, they're much deeper and hold water, trash, mud, ect. much better than the new one. New ones look a little cheap to me also.

I read this entire thread but didn't see an answer to this?

How are the pedals with the metal sport covers handled?

I say you dress in your uniform...go back to the dealership and kindly ask for the shampoo and mats...

I can not imaging you being denied.

Good luck and thanks for your service.

I try to steer clear of a dealer at all costs anyway, but if I should ever really need a dealer, and I want to keep my original pedel, I think I'll just remove it and drive with the metal rod till I take it home again and re-install my pedel.
I do not beleive for 1 second there is anything wrong with it, all CYA as others have said.

Damn, I lost the card, it was a 1-800 number.. I'd go to your local Toyota dealership and give it a try.. note he gave me the $200 credit because he felt bad about me waiting so long on the phone just to talk to someone. I might have just got really lucky with the nice customer service at the dealership and on the phone.

I'm pretty sure the dealership service dept. will remove them as part of the 90L recall. Probably put them in the back of your truck or confiscate them.

I believe I read here that a member got a rebate for the cost o f the sport pedals.

    What an interesting thread!

I just got my Recall, but on my 2008 DC, would they automatically do a reflash for the transmission and shorten the pedal?

i have noticed my tranny slip when going from revers to drive but only 2 or 3 times a month...
