lose the tube steps and get sliders if you still need a step. I have beat the crud out of my skid and they are pretty good for being stock, assuming you are talking about the silver one.

So I am losing the tube steps. Does anyone know if they will fit the double cab long bed? Its coming off my dc short bed. Buyer has a 2010 dc long bed and is wondering if they'll fit. I need to sell this thing.
