I'm 6'1" and have an occasionally bad back. Other than the headrests being an irritating design on the '09+ trucks, the SR5 seats have been very supportive and comfortable for my daily 120 miles of commuting and several long trips.

Just did a 1300 mile round trip. 10 hours straight. I am 36. About 5'11". My butt was a tad sore at the 9 hour mark. Soon as I got out I was fine. I was shocked it was that comfortable. TRD Off-Road.

I saw a recommendation in this thread to have the "harsh ride" TSB performed; if you're looking for long-distance, lightly loaded highway comfort, I don't think that's a good idea. Stiffer springs and shocks won't make it more comfortable on the highway.

I suppose it depends on how heavy a load you expect to be taking regularly. I'd take a test trip or two before deciding to ask for the TSB.

I had myself and a buddy and gear. Easy 500lbs. Rode like a champ. Still vote for the TSB. But, each thier own. Perhaps the dealer has a pre-owned that you could test drive.
