What do you mean by "garage kept"?

Also I emailed the internet sales rep and he gave me an initial offer of $22,750. He gave me line that "This is a $29,000 truck". I emailed him back that I thought that price was still high, esp. considering the accident history.

Also, Are steering wheel radio controls standard on this model? Because in the pictures the wheel is just plain. Would that mean the airbag went off and they replaced the wheel with one that didn't have the controls.

The first owner didn't even put 9k miles on it the 2 yrs he owned it.

OK. I thought maybe you meant that it was in an auto garage or something.

Steering wheel audio controls were only standard on the X-runner. It was optional on some other models.

Certified means it will come with a 100k warranty...standard. $21k or less is what i would try for. Make an offer after you drive/check it out. Then if dealer says no...walk away.

Looks like a non JBL stereo so it would have a single disc cd. And I think you get the steering wheel controls standard with the 6 disc JBL model. At least thats how mine came.

I wouldnt worry about the front end damage...had to be minor and your getting a 100k warranty. The carfax report might help you in getting a lower price however.

I agree on the 21K or less. Whatever price you set in your head, don't be afraid to walk away. You might be surprised how much they'll keep coming down.

I got up and walked out on one of my purchases and the rest of the negotiating took place over the phone. Almost two weeks later the deal was done and they eventually came down to my price. Doesn't always work...but there are always other trucks.

Remember that. Dont fall in love with this truck until its yours or you will end up paying too much.

I think thats a good deal. But then again, I got taken on mine as I was excited about getting my first "newer" truck. It had 65K on it and a leer cap.....20K is what I paid, and am still paying.:) But it did have everything I wanted, Off road Pkg, no dents, and CLEAN. Plus the previous owner had taken very good care of it, and I liked the service records provided. I am still very happy with my purchase and really dont care if I overpaid. I think in the end it wont matter what you do, as long as your happy having reliable transportation.
BTW, life is to short to worry about a few thousand. If you really like the pickup, just get it and never look back. Specially if you are like me and your crappy old ford costs more for parts and shi&&y gas mileage than a car payment and less chance of breaking down all over the country. Peace of mind is priceless.
    Good luck and enjoy....

Thanks for all the advice. I really like this site. I am going to look/drive it tonight and if I like it I will offer like $20,000 OTD(low ball'em). If they say no I will walk, because I really was looking to buy next May when I graduate and get my "Big Boy" job.
