bump stops

    anyone know about these bump stops called "joust bumpstops" i belive!? supposilby they are there bolt on kind, no fabrication needed.

    Jounce Shocks, and they are awesome. Light Racing makes a great product.

    You'll have to cut the existing front bumpstop bracket but it's a piece of cake. Pull your coil-over so you can fit your tools in there and drill holes where needed. It's time consuming but not difficult.

    As for the rears, drill out the 4 frame rivets on each side of the truck and bolt in the jounce shocks. You'll have to loosen the leaf spring u-bolts to add the strike plate but that's not a big deal. Just make sure you soak the nuts with a penetrating lubricant to make them easier to loosen.

    I bought mine on Ebay and got a sweet deal. Around $1200 shipped for the all four corners.

    What rear suspension are you running? FYI, these things require some fabrication to work with AllPro's u-bolt flip kit

    yeah those are the ones i was talking about, its very minor fabrication almost bolt on...i love this site everyone is always on the ball.....thanks!

    That was a looooong time ago but yes those were the stock lowers with skidplates bolted to them.
