HELP WITH RED TOP OPTIMA

    Yeah, I have 4 driving lights, bed lights, hood lights and a bumpin' stereo :D. My truck is usually the community stereo whenever we tailgate or campout.

    no more stock battery tie downs...the custom mount allows me to hold the battery down at the base of the Optima on the front and rear side...its holds really solid...:D

    I bought a 34R red top and it was just drop in. No switching cables or anything just unbolt the old and install the new.

    Just went on Amazon and it said "This product does not fit your 2008 Toyota Tacoma". Wonder what's up with that.

    Ok, so the Optima mystery has been solved. After speaking with Optima, I was told that the 35 is the correct battery for the Tacoma and is a direct fit with the height adapter. So after sending him some pictures of my issues, I realized that they gave me the wrong battery. I had a 34U which had a different polarity and the posts were located more inward. The 35 fits perfectly; however, there are no side post for audio. But it's in there and I'm done!

    Have you had any issues with sag due to teh extra weight? Or any other problems with the batteries hitting during off roading? What batts did you go with? I know yellow top but what model?

    I'm not quite sure about that...some times people delete the pictures/videos from their online accounts like fliks/photobucket and may move the file into another folder...if that happens the embedded html link has changed that's why the picture doesn't come up in their OP and the new embedded link needs to be changed under their post...
