I just installed my Built Right UCAs the other day, and I'm half tempted to take them off. They from day one have been making a groaning sound when I'm going slow or when I'm stopped and move the steering wheel. It is so loud that when I'm driving through town people look at me like I should wreck my truck off a cliff. Anyone know what the problem could be and or how to make it stop? I'ts not like the uniballs are dirty or anything, I just installed them, thanks

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
the bushings needed to be greased before installation, make sure the zerks have been greased, and if those two dont work, spray a lil teflon dry lube on the uniballs

I have them I there is nothing wrong with them...You have to grease the joints...and I recommend spraying Dupont Dry Teflon on the Uniball...Let them work in. I have had them since April love them. Ask the Socal people that I wheel with...no noise at all.

Do they Creek when turning??? Then Spray Dry Teflon

If they make noise when going up and down...make sure the Bushings are Greased...

DO NOT Put Grease on the Uniball or Teflon on the Joints.

    Who installed them?
