    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    Anybody done it on a second gen truck? My understanding is that there is some kind of disconnect on the front diff. If I could figure out how to independently switch that, then I could switch the transfercase into low range for backing out of steep driveways without burning the clutch. Used to do this by leaving the manual hubs unlocked on my old truck. Kinda surprised I havn't seen a writeup on it here.

    Differential Breather Mod Light Bar: 4 Cree LED lamps Bilstein 5100s Ride Rite Air Bags
    The front end disconnect is known as an ADD (Automatic Differential Disconnect) and it works on of the front half axles, being an open differential, when one side is free, both sides become free wheeling. This is like automatic locking hubs, but you can shift out of 4WD without driving in reverse with an ADD.

    In Older Jeep transfer cases, there is actually a position for 2-LOW (unmarked) between Neutral and 4 Low. My friend with a '72 CJ-5 loved to shift using 2 Low then 2 High!

    I pulled my front drive shaft for giggles one day and went for a spin. It was pretty wicked with the low gearing. I goes 52 on the limiter in 4th.
