Parking lights question

Hi guys I'm new and I just bought a 07 Tacoma. I love it. I'm very surprised that I can't turn the on just the parking lights. Is there a way to re-wire it or something so I can have the parking lights only on?

 

Welcome to Tacoma World .... there is a lot of good ideas ideas here, as well as some off-the-wall suggestions.

If the parking lights don't come on at the first turn/click of the light stalk than the previous owner re-wired something.

Now to clarify. The paking lights are to the outside of the headlights. The inner lights that you may see on some trucks are day time running lights (DTRL), which also act as the turn signals, which are not available on all models.

 

... My parking light bulbs were both burnt out. The idiots at the dealer were not able to diagnose burnt out bulbs, they told me that my Tacoma does not have parking lights.
After a couple weeks of thinking how crazy it is that I didn't have parking lights and looked to see if there was bulbs there. yes I know... Flame me if your gonna... its just that the Stealership told me specifically I could not turn them on.
