Lol, cute story. But in all seriousness, isn't the 5.7 engine in the Tundra the same as the old 5.7 GM's?

K&N intake. That is all. For now...
Haha GM didn't buy out Toyota, but they did produce cars together. The Corolla and the Chevy Nova were the same car. Same with the Cavaliers. Even the newer ones. That was flipped though and Toyota re-branded the Cavalier for Japan.

They definately aren't the same company anymore. Sure the Colorado has a 5-cylinder in it. But Taco's are much much better. :D

Lol I hate it when people are so wrong you don't even want to go through the trouble of correcting them.

GM did own a chunk of Toyota to help get Toyota to North America with the help of Mitsui Trading Co., then came the joint venture to form NUMMI in the early 80's.

Toyota and GM have partnered and shared numerous vehicle models. Even the the Toyota Stout had a GM counterpart.

GM had prevented Toyota to enter the full size market till the most recent Tundra.

There are similarities with the fender design with the Colorado and the Tacoma :D

You seriously had to make a thread asking this? You've been on here long enough to already know the answers.
